Greatly ambitious, noticeably inquisitive and inspired by the concept of continuous personal and peer development, Travis seeks out different avenues of learning as well as sharing knowledge.
Travis is currently completing year 3 of the Accounting and Financial Management program in the School of Accounting and Finance at the University of Waterloo. He plans to have completed his postgraduate studies by 2021. Travis then intends to leverage his university education in completing the CPA and CFA designations.
Travis is a self starter who always had a passion for effective personal money management. It is from these qualities in which the idea of the YFP was sourced.
Travis is available and more than pleased to expand his network. Feel free to contact him over LinkedIn/Email for coffee or even just a simple phone call.
"I wanted to establish an initiative that not only I have a passion for, but also to directly address a problem that I felt is much too belittled in today's society. Very rarely are young adults advised to begin investing their money early on in life. I feel that they are not sufficiently aware of the major benefits that exist if one begins to invest their money particularly at a young age. I saw an opportunity to put this movement into motion and after much thought, gave life to the Young Funds Program."
